 Important Notice:The next Lesotho Youth Summit has not yet been officially announced. Preparations are currently underway, and registration will open once the summit dates and venue are confirmed.
Participation Details:
  • The summit is a self-funded event, meaning participants will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and related expenses.
  • Delegates are encouraged to begin researching accommodation options early to find hotels or lodges that best suit their budget and preferences once the dates are announced.
  • Participation is open to Basotho youth aged 18–35 from all districts and sectors.

The Lesotho Youth Summit is designed by the youth of Lesotho, for the youth of Lesotho, and ideally stands as a no-cost event. However, the summit will only be free if sponsorship fully covers all logistical costs required to organize it. At present, to ensure sustainability and the continued success of our events even when sponsorship is limited, entrance fees have been introduced as follows: Early Bird – 100 Maloti, General – 150 Maloti, and VIP & International – 200 Maloti.
Our dedicated volunteers continue to seek sponsorship from local and international organizations and businesses to support the planning, logistics, and execution of the summit. These partnerships are crucial for maintaining the summit’s quality, accessibility, and impact for all participants, while enabling the event to operate independently of sponsorship shortfalls.

The first edition of the Lesotho Youth Summit was held from 5–7 October 2023 in Maseru, followed by the second edition from 7–9 October 2024 in Mafeteng, Lesotho. The third edition was hosted in Mohale’s Hoek, marking another successful milestone in this growing national movement.
The fourth edition of the Lesotho Youth Summit is scheduled to take place in Leribe from 7–9 October 2026.
